This design came about after a friend asked if I could make a cover for her new door stop. She loved having a door stop that worked, but she didn't love the idea of it becoming grubby over time. She also loved the idea of being able to change the look to suit moods without replacing the entire door stop.

The result is a practical solution that keeps doors open while making cleaning and seasonal updates easy.

Door stops spend their lives on the floor. They're exposed to dust, pet hair, shoes, and everyday household traffic, yet most can't easily be cleaned once they become marked or worn.

This design solves that problem by separating the washable cover from the weighted insert. Simply remove the cover, wash it, and put it back on.

Why isn't the door stop included in free shipping?
